Are you looking for translation services in English, German or Japanese?
I’m looking forward to hearing from you and working out the details of the translation together!
My passion for culture and language is what led me to offer my services in the fields of translation and localization.
One, maybe even the most essential part of the translation process is the consideration of culture. Cross-cultural translation is a craft that requires capturing and rendering not only expressions, but also cultural nuance and therefore demands for a variety of skills, including in-depth cultural knowledge, language and translation skills. I have acquired many of these skills through my academic and professional career and continue to build on them.
In my undergraduate degree I majored in Japanese language and translation, which I continued during my graduate degree, in which I specialized in Japanese technical and academic language, media communication in Japan and Japanese history. Furthermore, I attended lectures on German linguistics to further improve my translation skills.
Feel free to also connect concerning services, that may not be listed here.
In order to provide a high-quality service, I will evaluate feasibility and suitability for each request. I usually get back to you within a week.
